The Steering Committee of the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement in Yemen (SUN Yemen) convened on Monday, November 20, 2023, in the interim capital, Aden.
The meeting was chaired by Dr. Nizar Abdullah Basuhaib, Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Vice Chair of the Steering Committee, and National SUN Coordinator for Yemen. The session was supported by the World Food Programme (WFP) and attended by Ms. Felis Eraya, WFP Supply Officer.
Committee members or their designated representatives participated in the meeting, which aimed to review the activities undertaken by the SUN Secretariat as part of its 2023 annual work plan, and to follow up on the recommendations from the previous Steering Committee meeting held in January 2023.
